Colors

How did The Great Artist know? The colors in spring are fresh light green of new growth, of new flowers. that poke their faces out early when frost is still on the ground;. lemon yellow with orange hearts purple crocuses. Those yellow eyes that greet me in the morning. The brilliant hues of grass and early vegetable sprouts poking their light green heads up from the ground . How did The Painter know to make the leaves the most brilliant when the sky becomes dreary gray and the days sadly short?

My eyes see colors on a clear cold day when the ground is frozen white and brown, the sky is a warm cerulean, a sunset in deep reds and oranges.

Vivid fades to golden soft yellow, robins egg blue made by the sun’s power to produce the colors. And when I grow so very old, my vision may be dimmed I will remember how vivid the colors are in each season as I feel the air begin to chill as I feel the seasons change, the leaves become brilliant golden, crimson, orange, the colors can blaze in my head.
